Aconite is a great remedy for symptoms that come on suddenly. It is useful for colds, coughs, sore throats and fevers. It is especially useful for colds that come on after exposure to cold winds. When Mrs A came to me she was suffering from diarrhoea, bloating and wind. She sometimes experienced pain after eating and this could make her sick. Her sickness and diarrhoea were accompanied by bleeding, she couldn’t face eating and was losing weight fast. Not surprisingly, she was becoming more and more tired. Mrs A and her family were very worried.
