March 2008
Hello again everyone and welcome to our March newsletter - spring is on the way ... honest!

It is really heartening to see that the general public and national newspapers are finally joining our campaign to reduce the nation’s consumption of plastic bags. At Natural Health, we have been asking a nominal charge for plastic bags since January 2007 and have found that our bag consumption has dropped by over 95%. We do have a wide range of reusable eco-bags for sale, including our ever popular 100% natural cotton turtle bags which retail from £3.50. Many of the UK's plastic bags travel along rivers and streams and end up out at sea. Turtles coming to our waters for their favourite meal of jelly fish are increasingly mistaking floating plastic bags for their dinner. Plastic bags are a hazard. Turtle bags are a gentler alternative.

Also on our eco-trail, we have introduced an Ecover refill station to the WGC store due to its popularity in Hertford. So, in both shops, we now offer refills for washing up liquid, laundry liquid and fabric softener. We will refill any size bottle from 500ml to 5 litres.

We have loads of things on offer this month. We have continued our 20% off Hopi Ear Candles due the resounding success of the deal but if you still want some, better get in quick as the offer MUST finish at the end of March.

Lots of people are worried about their cholesterol levels and are concerned about the effects of statins on their general well- being. This month we are offering a free cholesterol test with every purchase of Solgar Sytrinol, a natural product clinically proven to reduce cholesterol. Please see the link at the bottom of this e-mail.

Throughout March, selected Jason shampoos and conditioners are on offer on a buy-one-get-one-free deal. Nature’s Answer Rhodiola has 25% off – great for all the stress of the forthcoming exam season.

Selected products from Optima's Australian tea tree range are also on buy-one-get-one-free – but again, it's first come, first served whilst stocks last.

Easter is just round the corner and we have lots of chocolate goodies in store for all your needs including the delicious Booja Booja truffles which are 100% organic, vegan, gluten free and utterly delicious!
